On November 1st we are launching Wednesday night service at Springdale as “Neighbor Night,” partnering with different charitable and nonprofit organizations every month! From 4-10 every night in November, join us for a special tapping of a “Stache Cask” in support of our Movember team, Mo’ Money Mo’ Lagers.
For the first two Neighbor Nights, 11/1 & 11/8, join us from 6-9pm for some extra fun painting a community mural together in the Barrel Room! Our friend Sorin Bica has been curating the art in our space since we opened, and will be leading us in painting a beer-inspired mural on our wall. For a $10 donation to our Movember team, all materials will be provided, as well as some light appetizers from the Jack’s Abby Beer Hall. Come leave your mark in the Barrel Room, in support of a great cause! See some of Sorin’s incredible work on his website.
Why Movember? The Movember Foundation addresses the biggest threats to health in young men. They focus specifically on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Male specific cancers are doubling, and three quarters of all suicides are men. The primary goal of Movember is to reduce men dying prematurely by 25% globally by 2030. Their strategy consists of funded research, knowledge mobilisation, networking and collaboration, and organizational infrastructure. The Movember Foundation is 100% not for profit, so they need our help! So let’s drink some beer, play some arcade games, paint a mural, and help solve the men’s health crisis.
